It is the top of the Romney wool from the U.K. You can spin it to your desired thickness and make it into yarn, or use it for needle felting.
The wool is thick at 27-29 microns, yet soft and easy to handle.
The title is Mussorgsky's opera "Khovanshchina". Prelude "Dawn Over The Moscow River". Since it was unfinished, there is also a production that plays this prelude after the tragic final scene and gives a sense of hope.
Please use it after combing it with a carder before using it.
Most of the dust has been removed, but in rare cases black parts of raw hair may be mixed.
It is not pre-shrunk, so we recommend hand washing in lukewarm water.
